Credit One Bank $14 Million Settlement: Who Qualifies and How to File Your Claim

If you received robocalls from Credit One Bank between 2014 and 2019, you may be eligible for part of a $14 million class-action settlement.

The lawsuit claims the bank violated federal law by making unsolicited automated calls without proper consent.

Here’s what the case is about, who qualifies, and how to file your claim for compensation of up to $1,000.

 

Why Credit One Is Paying a $14 Million Settlement

This lawsuit alleges that Credit One Bank and its affiliates placed thousands of robocalls using automated dialers and pre-recorded messages, violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

These calls were allegedly made to both current customers and people with no relationship to the bank—without their permission.

While Credit One Bank denies any wrongdoing, the company agreed to settle the case and compensate those affected.

 

Who Is Eligible for Compensation?

You may qualify if:

  • You received automated robocalls from Credit One Bank between 2014 and 2019

  • You were a personal or business account holder during that period

  • You can provide:

    • A phone number that received the robocalls

    • Approximate dates or timeframes of the calls (if known)

    • Documentation of an active Credit One credit card

    • Any proof of related fees, financial losses, or transaction history

How Much Can You Get?

Eligible claimants may receive between $100 and $1,000, depending on how many claims are submitted and the severity of the impact.

 

How to File a Claim

You will need to submit a claim after the court gives final approval of the settlement.

At that time, a dedicated claims website will be launched with detailed instructions.

When submitting a claim, be ready to provide:

  • Your full legal name and contact information

  • The phone number(s) that received the robocalls

  • Dates or approximate time periods when calls were received (if known)

  • Any supporting documentation (optional but helpful)

  • A signed declaration affirming your claim is truthful

Important: If you do nothing, you will lose your right to claim any part of the settlement.

 

When Will Payments Be Sent?

The payment timeline has not been set yet.

The court still needs to finalize the settlement approval and disbursement process.

Once confirmed, eligible individuals will be notified, and payments will be processed shortly after.

  • Start gathering your documents (account statements, call logs, proof of losses)
